Read-only
We read your books to find what is wrong. Nothing in QuickBooks is created, edited or deleted to produce the audit.
Access goes after 14 days
Automatically, unless you decide to work with us. You can also disconnect us yourself at any time, in QuickBooks under Settings > Apps.
Numbers, with their caveats
Some findings are certain, like the same bill entered twice. Others are suspicions with a ceiling. We tell you which is which.
Tax questions go to your CPA
The audit is about whether your books are right. Anything with a tax angle, we flag for you to take to your CPA.
Plainly: what QuickBooks lets a connected app do
QuickBooks gives every connected app full access to your books. There is no read-only setting to choose. So the protections are ours:
- · Our audit code only reads. It never creates, edits or deletes anything in QuickBooks.
- · Access is removed automatically after 14 days unless you hire us.
- · You can disconnect us yourself at any time, in QuickBooks under Settings > Apps.
