Books you stopped trusting, back in order for a fixed $1,000.
Duplicate bills, deposits booked as income twice, an uncategorised pile in Ask My Accountant, months that never reconciled. Name the period, and you get it back corrected with a closing packet that says what changed.
A bookkeeping firm? Cleanups run through your firm subscription — metered per cleanup, with a 48-hour turnaround.
How it works
Five steps, and you are only needed for two.
- 01
Tell us the period
Which months are a mess. Most cleanups are a calendar year, but any range works.
- 02
Pay once
$1,000, up front, no hourly. That payment is also the thing that gets the documents moving — an owner who has committed answers their email.
- 03
Connect and upload
Link QuickBooks, then work a checklist built from your own chart of accounts: one row per account per month, so nobody has to guess what is left.
- 04
Answer the few we cannot
Every cleanup reaches a question only you can settle — repair or capital improvement, owner draw or expense. You get a short list, not a phone call every day.
- 05
Take the packet
Corrected books, plus a closing packet that says what changed and why. If you hand it to a CPA, it is the document they ask for.
Before you buy
The parts most cleanup pages leave out.
One price, not an hourly estimate
$1,000 for the period you name. A cleanup quoted hourly is a cleanup whose cost you find out at the end, which is why most owners put it off another year.
Nothing starts before it is paid
We do not open a cleanup on a promise. That is not a collections preference — it is that unpaid cleanups stall on documents nobody sends, and both sides waste a month finding out.
No turnaround promise, and here is why
Accounting firms get 48 business hours, because they already hold the access, statements and answers. You control those, so any deadline we quoted you would really be a deadline for your own inbox. We move as fast as the documents arrive.
The corrections are reviewed, not applied blind
Findings are proposed, queued and applied deliberately against your ledger. You can see what changed at every point, and so can your accountant.
Name the period.
Not sure how far back the trouble goes? Talk it through first — we will look at the ledger with you and say what a cleanup would actually cover.
